Medan to Lake Toba, How to Experience Well-Spent 4 Days Itinerary

Itinerary Day 1
- Pulau Samosir
Located in the middle of Lake Toba, Pulau Samosir is an island that is nearly the same size as Singapore. It is probably the most significant island within an island on the planet. There are plenty of hotels, the majority of which provide lake views where you can enjoy water sports just steps from your room!
- Taman Simalem Resort

Itinerary Day 2
Start your day by merely catching the sunrise and check out the tallest waterfall Sipiso-piso of Indonesia just 20 minutes from the hotel. Return to research Taman Simalem; have a yoga class visiting Lake Toba, select a jungle trek (either free for hotel guests) or treat yourself to some relaxing Indonesian massage or Ayurvedic therapy.

Ferry departures from Tigaras are 8 am, 9.30 am, and 11.30 am. While the schedule for the ferry crossing from Simanindo port back to Tigaras is 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm.
Itinerary Day 3
- Sibayak Volcano
There is an assortment of treks you’ll be able to hike to the Gunung Sibayak crater for 1.5 hours to five hours. This trek through the dense jungle will demand a manual (~Rp.250,000/~S$25).
