Chandragiri Fort
This is another historical monument that you must visit when in Bekal. Protected by the State Archaeology Department, Fort in the Kasargod District that dates to the 17th century. Situated next to the Piyaswini River, its spans over 7 acres. In its time, the fort served as the boundary between Thulunadu and Kolathunadu, 2 powerful kingdoms. The fort is now in ruins and is surrounded by an aura that can only be felt and not conveyed.
