All About CLAT Notification and Exam Dates

The full form of CLAT is the ‘Common Law Admission Test’. The Exam is conducted to offer admissions to the individuals into the Undergraduate and Post Graduate Law Programs in different Law Universities.

• The application mode is online. Candidates can visit the official website for clat notification (i.e www.clat.ac.in) and fill the registration forms
• The exam takes place once a year. From 2019 onwards, the exam is conducted in offline mode (pen-paper mode)
• The syllabus of the paper includes the subjects English, Legal Aptitude, Maths, Reasoning & GK
• In order to apply for UG, students must have done 10+12. For PG, candidates must have secured 45% marks in UG to apply
• The exam will be held in May 2020
• The application fee for General/OBC/PWD/NRI is INR4000. For SC/ST/BPL, it is INR3500

The notification is expected to be released in December 2020. The final date has not been announced. Students are requested to fill the application forms before the last date.

• Before filling the form, it is advised to all candidates to check their eligibility criteria. Any candidate who will not satisfy eligibility conditions will get their form canceled at any point of time
• Visit the official website and fill the form carefully preventing from any kind of errors

CLAT 2020 Admit Card Dates

Admit card is one of the most important aspects of any competitive exam and for CLAT, as well. Without admit card, the officials will not let you enter the exam hall.

• The admit card will have mentioned all the details of your exam on it. For example Exam Venue, Exam Date & Time, Exam Day Instructions, etc.

CLAT 2020 Result & Counselling

The result and counseling are expected to take place in the month of June. The results are announced on the official website of CLAT:

• On the basis of the result, students who have cleared CLAT will be called for the counseling process
• Candidates have to pay Counselling Fee of INR50000 if they want to have their name in 1st seat allotment list
• To download the result, candidates have to go to the result page whenever the link is active, fill their registration number and password to download their scorecard
• The scorecard will have all the details mentioned in it. For example Name, Roll Number, DOB, Qualifying Status, Marks Secured, All India Rank, NRI Rank, Legal Aptitude Marks, NRI Sponsored Rank
