#3. The food here is pretty good – As is the norm with coastal regions, the seafood here is pretty good. The seafood platter or the whole lobster could be some delicacies to try around here. You can get fried fish at the islands, fresh from the morning catch. Many local restaurants serve Indian dishes at amazing prices. You can even try out Thai, Italian and Continental cuisines other than the seafood items.

#4. When to visit and where to stay – The islands offer a pleasant stay during winter, as it is not chilly in these areas. Though you can enjoy water sports between October to May, January is the best time to experience the local culture and tradition. The islands receive heavy rains during the other half of the year, but the place looks beautiful during this time too.
