Great Study Snacks for Kids

Great Study Snacks for Kids

The end of the 2021-2022 school year is fast approaching and while it can be tempting to set life on cruise control and coast into the summer months, for many students and parents this time of year can require extra focus and attention whether that be for final papers or final exams.

If you’re facing an end of school crunch and need to keep both your mind and body fueled up then check out our list of great study snacks for kids.

Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds – especially if you choose the right ones – contain lots of great fatty acids that our bodies don’t produce naturally. Getting them into your body by eating nuts and seeds can help boost memory, improve concentration and help you think faster.

Fruit

It can be tempting when studying to try and break into the candy cupboard to give that sweet tooth a fix. However, the sugar crash that comes after is only going to hinder your study plans. Instead, reach for a piece of fruit. Apples, oranges, bananas, and berries of all kinds are great for satisfying a craving for sweets while also giving your body vitamins and minerals that it needs to stay focused.

Eggs

Eggs are a great snack option for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that they’re easy to cook. From scrambled to hard-boiled you can pack a lot of flavor into an easy to prepare snack. They’re also a fantastic source of protein which will fill your belly and keep you fueled up for longer than carbohydrate loaded snacks like chips, popcorn, or cereal.

Whether you’re an online high school student or a college senior looking toward graduation day making sure you’re stocked up on the right snacks for that next study session can make all the difference.
